How to Use Zakra Header and Footer Maker

Ready to use Zakra Header and Footer Builder? Here’s how you can!

If you are using the Zakra theme for the first time, you will get the Zakra Header and Footer Builder as soon as you install the theme. Otherwise, for existing users, update the theme by following the steps below.

1. Update Zakra Theme and Zakra Pro Plugin

To use this feature, make sure the Zakra theme is updated to the latest version. Header and Footer Builder available from Free Zakra v4.0.0 And Zakra Pro v3.0.0.

So, open your WordPress dashboard and navigate to Appearance >> Theme. You will get a notification to update the theme at the top of the theme.

Click Update nowand you’re ready to go.

Notes: Make sure the free and pro versions of the theme are Zakra Free v4.0.0 and Zakra Pro v3.0.0 or higher. You have to update the free and pro version of the theme.

To update Zakra Pro version, navigate to Plugins>>Installed Pluginsand you will see a message to update the plugin. Similarly, update the plugin.

Notes: The Zakra Pro add-on is not a theme but a plugin, so once you install it, you have to update it as a plugin.

2. Navigate to Customizer

Go to Appearance >> Customization >> Header & Navigation, then enable Enable Creator.

When you activate it, a pop-up containing all the information about the creator will appear. Read it all and press Continue button if everything is fine.

Meanwhile, activate Builder will activate the Header and Footer Builder.

3. Start Building

Now, you can start building by dragging and dropping elements and seeing real-time previews as you create headers and footers for your website.

4. Publish and Enjoy

Once you are satisfied with the design, press Publish button and watch your site transform into a completely new custom look.
